A Return to Prayer

Lately God has been tugging at my heart… to help others to pray, to come back to a place of love, to help them understand that there is true power in prayer, that we have forgotten who we truly are, and have moved into a place of darkness, not realizing why we were there. And so I offer this post and helpful it will help you rekindle your commitment to daily prayer, whatever that is for you.

Throughout the centuries we have known about prayer, and that through prayer, we would receive more goodness in our lives. It is easy to become absorbed by the chaos in our lives and our world. And we wonder why so many bad things are happening around us.

Sometimes we wonder if God has forgotten about us. I assure you that He has not. He is always there if we reach out to him. It is we who have forgotten about Him and the power of prayer in our lives.

I am sure there are those who wonder if there is really a God, if He really does exist. There has seemingly been a conflict between religion and science for a long time.  Fortunately, there are many wonderful scientists who are spiritual in nature and have realized that God and the Universal Force of all that is are the same.

Prayer is not a religious experience, but a spiritual experience between us and our creator, one of our own understanding. Prayer is an experience of love, love for others, love for God and love for ourselves.

It matters not if we believe that God exists or not and what our belief in God is or is not. When we reach out to God or the Universe through prayer, he will always respond to us in a positive way. God is love and is always with us.

Prayer Is Always The Answer…

Wherever we are in our life, whatever is going on in our life, prayer is always the answer. We are spiritual and vibrational beings and whatever we put out into the Universe will always come back to us at a similar vibration.

When we forget who we are, and move away from our beingness, that spiritual part of us that we are, we can easily become lost and move toward darkness in our world.  We can restore that spiritual balance in our lives through prayer and meditation. When we have adversity happening in our life and world, God is always there and will help us, regardless of the situation.  Prayer as well as meditation take us closer to being in a state of love and being in a state of love always brings us closer to God, our creator. When we spend time in prayer in our own lives, it will always have a ripple effect to others around us and into our world. And deep prayer will always provide a sense of inner peace that will transcend everything in our lives and help take away our concerns and fears.

Prayer is a remedy for the wrong and injustice in our world. Prayer is a remedy for all of the darkness in our personal lives and the natural and manmade disasters in our world.  While it is an old and lost mode, the effectiveness has not changed. We can truly receive miracles in our lives through prayer.

I hope you find my post thought provoking. While I have always been a spiritual junkie, sometimes I have forgotten to pray as well. This post is a reminder for me as well to stay connected in my everyday life. When I spend time in prayer, I always feel better and my life is always better. I seem to be in the flow of life is I incorporate even a few minutes of prayer into my day. Especially now, with so much going on in our country and world, prayer is needed more than ever. We who are prayerful need to be more mindful of spending time in prayer, for ourselves, our country and our world.
