My 5 Favorite Things To Feel Connected With Spirit

Some of us enjoy that feeling of being spiritually connected all of the time. In our world it truly is difficult to be in that place all of the time, especially with life providing different challenges for us.

And we all have times when there are challenges in our lives, that we feel we need to shift or make changes in our lives. And it can feel overwhelming during these times and seem difficult to feel connected with Spirit. Sometimes we just need someone to remind of us a few things to help us get back on track, so that we can be in that place where we feel connected and in a place of that feeling of Divine Love.

And we live in a world that seems to be disconnected from Spirit, our spiritual side, and we can find ourselves feeling out of sync, so to say, and not realize where that feeling is coming from. Or we are doing through really difficult times in our lives, a major stressor in our lives, such as divorce, or job loss. Just know that I have deepest empathy for you if you are in one of these places. Unfortunately, none of us are immune to going through life devastating events at some time in our lives.

During those times, it was my connection with Spirit that really helped me pull through those times. I am not sure what I would have done if I did not have that special connection in my life. And so I thought it might be helpful to share what I have found helped me at such times.  

My 5 Favorite Things To Feel Connected With Spirit.

Divine Protection

First, I would like to say that I do believe I am divinely protected, that God is with me, and that I am surrounded by an infinite number of angels and other spiritual beings. This belief alone has helped me often, especially during difficult times.

Time in Meditation, Prayer and Reflection

I love meditation and prayer and spend much time in that place of feeling connected with Spirit and in prayer, as well as reflection about myself and my life. I have found it healing and helpful to me in my everyday life. That alone time with Spirit is comforting and soothes my soul on a deep level.

Time Outdoors in Nature

Nature is healing and helps us be connected with the Divine within, that part of us that is closest to Spirit, God, or the universe. When I am in nature, I always feel better.

Adventure and Travel Time

I love travel and am fortunate enough to get away from time to time to visit national parks and national monuments. I also visit other places as well, but places that are interesting and fun. Travel always seems to help me come back with a lighter heart and renewed spirit.

Walking and Exercising Daily

But even when I home, I am fortunate enough to live in an area where there are many different state and county parks that are scenic and offer beautiful views as well as hiking trails. Just getting away for a half an hour or an hour helps me to feel better and come back in routine with renewed energy.

Whatever is going on in your life, make sure you take time for you. Even just a few minutes each day is helpful.  

These are simple things that I believe we are all aware of, but sometimes have difficulty finding time to do. Make you a priority. You, your connection with Spirit and your peace of mind is important. I am sure you may have your own things that you find helpful in similar times and would love to hear from you.
